Adoptable Cats
All of the cats listed below have lived at home with, and have been personally cared for by me (Sky DeDual) since rescued. Everyone is spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and given a clean bill of health by my local veterinarian before adopted into a new home.
Interested in welcoming one of these kitties into your family or adopting an animal you’ve seen featured on social media? Please complete the application below to begin the adoption process.
Parker
Some stuff you should know about me!
✅ 1-1/2 years old
✅Male, Neutered, Vaccinated, Chipped
Good with: Dogs, other young and playful cats
Not good with: Small kids. He can get mouthy playing sometimes. He’s the sweetest cat, but he can play rough.
They found him in the middle of a parking lot… Parker was about a week old when he was surrendered to my veterinarians clinic.
His eyes and ears hadn’t opened yet. I bottle fed him for about 4 weeks, until he could eat and potty on his own.
Once he was old enough to be neutered, we found a committed adopter- how ever that fell thru before we could start the trial adoption, which delayed rehoming him as a “kitten”.
Parker is now just over a year old and is very playful! He loves to be held, cuddled, and gives an occasional kiss🥺
He gets along well with cats (I’m currently fostering 7 (both male and female), however when meets new cats, slow introductions work best for him.
Same goes for dogs. I have both big and small dogs in the house- everyone free roams, and Parker does very well with them, but slow intros are the way to his heart🤍
Parker is a big boy weighing in at 10lbs. He would do best in a home with other cats that are playful. He loves having a cat buddy to run around or nap with. Parker also has no issue sharing a litter box!!

Hermonie
Some stuff you should know about me!
✅ 4-5 years old
✅ Female, Spayed, Vaccinated, and Chipped
Good with: Calm Dogs (loves my small dog) and other laid back cats.
Not cool with: Loud noises, Crowded spaces, or The washing machine.
Intake: 5/14/23
I used to feed Hermonie in a local cat colony. When I realized she had a litter of kittens, I knew I had to trap her and get her spayed so this never happened again.
I was successful in trapping Hermione and her kittens! NY second chance rescue took the kittens for me, and my plan was to release Hermione back to her colony.
Once I realized she wasn’t fully feral, and she allowed me to handle her, I couldn’t bring myself to setting her back out on the street to fend for herself. Where she lived was an area of town that folks are not kind to the feral cats. I simply couldn’t do it.
Today, 3 years later, I am still searching for Hermione’s forever home. That may sound like a long time to have a cat as a foster(I agree it is) but we just haven’t found someone patient enough to give her a permanent spot.
Hermione is a thriving, lovely cat that is friendly and affectionate, on her terms. Shes comfortable around my dogs that live inside(both large and small). Hermione is more confident with other calm cats around. She doesn’t like loud noises- if the washing machine is running she won’t go near the laundry room, where a few of the litter boxes reside.
She would do best in a home with another calm cat. If there are dogs in the house, she would do best with dogs that are older or have a calm energy. I believe Hermione will continue to grow fond of her person and allow them to be more physically affectionate as time goes on- but it’s important to know, that may not happen. It just depends on the person, their energy and lifestyle.
If you think Hermione is the perfect addition to your family, you can fill out a foster-to-adopt application at the top of website.
Vivian
Some stuff about me!
✅2-3 years old
✅ Female, Spayed, Vaccinated, and Chipped
Cool with: Calm dogs, Other cats (looking to be adopted out with Sasha or into home with another cat)
Not cool with: Loud noises, Lots of commotion, or Young kids
Intake: 9/8/23
*Retired Feral*
I saw Vivian looking for food in a gas station parking lot during rush hour- I knew she was starving and probably needed help.
I was able to trap her, with the intentions of getting her fixed and then releasing her.
I found out from the staff at the hotel where I trapped her, that she was a regular there and hung out around the dumpster.
After I got her fixed, I decided against releasing her back at the hotel. I had witnessed a handful of cats in that area suffer tremendously, both from health, and locals being cruel.
Vivian has been with me a little over a year now, and while she’s not yet a cat that wants to cuddle and be picked up, she’s definitely ready for her own home. She would do best living with someone that understands, she will do things on her time ;)
She loves having human Roomates, and I believe she will eventually enjoy being loved on, and cuddled by a human, but I want to be transparent, and let anyone interested in adopting her know, that it may take a while for her to get to that point… and there’s the possibility that she will only ever want to be, just your roommate. Look but don’t touch :) unless she decides otherwise.
Vivian allows me to pet her and she’s talks a lot, which leads me to believe she can get there with someone else too!
Vivian’s forever home absolutely MUST have another cat friend for her to spend her days with. Vivian THRIVES with one of my current foster cats, Sasha. I would love for them to be adopted together, but understand that is not a likely scenario. She also co exists with my dogs(both large and small). Everyone free roams, and she doesn’t have an issue with them at all.

Tater
Some stuff you should know about me!
Age: 5-6 years old
Weight: 7olbs
Gender: Male, Neutered
Cool with: Cats, Other dogs, Being in the car, Going out in public
Not cool with: Young kids, Arguing, Loud noises, being home alone all day
My story:
Tater was surrendered to a rural shelter in February 2022 when his owner fell ill and could no longer take care of him. Tater is a friendly and loving dog who makes it his mission to meet new friends wherever he goes! A total lap dog at heart, he also has a curious nose that could lead him on endless adventures. Tater enjoys cuddling up for TV time just as much as he loves sniffing around outdoors. While he gets along well with most dogs and cats, he can be a bit protective of his belongings (he wishes everything was his, can we blame him?!)
